With baseballs as king pieces, this classic game of checkers has a MLB theme. The eight kings, challenge players to see how many of their checker pieces can make it to the checkerboard “home base” to be crowned. The game includes instructions, and sticker sheets with all 30 MLB teams represented, so you can designate your checker pieces as your favorite opposing teams.

The exhibit opened at the National Archives in the Lawrence F. O’Brien Gallery in Washington, DC on Friday, September 16, 2022, and was on display through Sunday, January 7, 2024.
